Bandai Pier, located between Chuo Pier and North Pier, is home to seafood processing factories, storage silos and warehouses. The Japan Coast Guard Hakodate Office patrol boat ｢Tsugaru｣ also moors at the pier, while many of the larger cargo ships carrying various materials and food load and unload cargo here. The pier provides sweeping views of Mount Hakodate and downtown, and is frequented year-round by area anglers.
