Takuboku Park is located along Isaribi-dori street facing the Omorihama coastline, which was a favorite spot of Takuboku Ishikawa. The park features a seated statue of Ishikawa backed by Mt. Hakodate, the Tsugaru Straits and Cape Tachimachi. The base of the statue includes an engraving of a waka poetry written by Ishikawa. The park has become a favorite of both tourists and city residents alike for its great views from one of the many benches or the park\\\'s traditionally designed hut.
