Surrounded by green lawns, trees and river, Sasanagare Dam Park is also known as the source of the Akagawa River. The park attracts large numbers of city residents in spring for the blooming of its 130 cherry trees, and in autumn for its magnificent fall colors. The park also has a multi-use field with washing places nearby making a picnic or sports an ideal activity for visiting families and residents.
